Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

 Prompt Response: A time I discovered a new perspective was going to a funeral. It made me view life as so short and fast because I was just talking with this person the other day and grew up around them. It shaped my thoughts by living life with no regrets and cherishing everything around me.

Summary: Today in class we worked on commonlit. Talking about ones understanding and perspective on the world.

Reflection: I learned that thoughts and judgment really shape our day to day society. I state this because one thing can happen and impact the persons life forever.
