Today, we continued our discussion about culture and food. What is one dish from your culture that is a must-have as a representation of your culture? Identify the dish and explain what it is and why it is significant.

Prompt Response: One dish that is a must have is mafé. It is rice mixed with blended sauce a base of tomatoes, onions, and peanut butter and often with with meat. It is significant because it is a food we would gather and eat together to show hospitality.

Summary:Today in class we worked on our Cultural  food reflection table.

Reflection: I learned how food can symbolize different cultures and how it can be made from anything laying around.
