Clothing is often tied to identity and culture. Describe an outfit or style you like that may not fit what others expect from you. How have people responded, and what does this reveal about stereotypes in society?

Prompt Response: An outfit or style that may not fit what others expect is a outfit called a bazin. This is worn on special occasion like EID. People responded first with faces then they continued to ask what it was and why do we wear it in my culture. This reveals about stereotypes in society that people are quick to judge and associate something that it´s not because it´s different.

Summary: Today in class we watched a video about how clothing can be tied to identity & culture.

Reflection: I learned how different people associate certain pieces of clothing with cultures.
