The short film Born With It shows how stereotypes can shape the way people see others and even how individuals see themselves. Reflect on the main character’s experience and explain how stereotypes impacted his identity and sense of belonging. Then, connect this to a broader idea: how can stereotypes influence the way a culture or group is understood by others? Use specific examples from the film to support your response.

Prompt Response:  Stereotypes impacted the kids identity by he started viewing himself in their perspectives and believing everything they was saying. It can influence the way a culture or group is understood by others by others starting to believe it and changing their view on it. We see this when this little boy spreads the lie to the classroom that the other boy had AIDS.

Summary: In class we watched a video and discussed about our project

Reflection: I learned how stereotypes can influence ones mind and change their perspective n others.
